Thirty-Six Things May 2, 2008

Since I am 36, I have decided to give you 36 random things you may not have known about me. See, we are more alike than you think.

1. I have three kids. Brianna was born in Sept ‘04. Jeremy was born in Mar ‘06. Jaxon was born in Jan of ‘09. I have an “Angel Baby” in heaven that I lost via miscarriage in Dec ‘07.
2. My wedding anniversary is November 1999
3. I hate bras
4. I only wear my wedding ring to bed — no other jewelry (and sometimes not even my wedding ring)
5. I hate high heels
6. My secret to amazingly clean jewelry — an ultrasonic cleaning machine that I got from E-bay
7. I hate pantyhose
8. I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. I am firstborn (I hate saying “oldest” – ICK!).
9. The reason I am suffering through school to become a nurse while raising a very young family is so that I can be a medical missionary. That’s the long term goal and, call me crazy, I cannot wait!
10. I have two tattoos — one that means nothing and one that means everything
11. I used to have my belly button pierced, but when I needed double umbilical hernia surgery I had to remove it and after my incision healed I didn’t have the courage to try and put it back in. Every time I thought of it I almost puked.
12. I was born in Columbus, Ohio
13. I hate the Michigan Wolverines
14. However, blue is my favorite color
15. 4 is my favorite number
16. I want to adopt internationally (but Rich doesn’t)
17. My husband’s name is Rich
18. We live in Florida
19. I want 4 kids (but Rich doesn’t)
20. I love popcorn. The more butter the better.
21. My favorite Bible verse is Zephaniah 3:17
22. I don’t think there is anything wrong with Jesus freak stuff on cars or t-shirts. Those of you who make fun of Christians who have or wear this stuff are mean and mean and mean (you meanies). Seriously, tell me what the difference is between that and wearing OSU stuff or having an OSU bumper sticker or a Brutus the Buckeye hanging from your rearview. I’d rather proclaim my identity in Jesus Christ, thank you very much. Also, He always wins. Your teams lose sometimes. So there!!

24. I am 5 feet 2 inches short (and I mostly love being short)
25. I was born in May
26. I got my first kiss when I was 13. It was all downhill after that, unfortunately.
27. My favorite dessert is cheesecake; the plainer and heavier, the better
28. My favorite restaurant is The Prawnbroker in Stuart, Florida
29. I dislike animals
30. My favorite brand of clothing is NY&Co
31. My dream car is a Dodge Viper
32. My dream vacation is a month long spa getaway somewhere remote and beautiful near a body of water
33. I was raised Catholic
34. I am a very good cook
35. I am now a member of a nondenominational church that is awesome and not Catholic. The Pastor was also raised Catholic. I love it!
36. I have an acute sense of smell.
