That’s me, of course.
A blog dynamo in my mind.
An amateur in real life.

  • I live in Florida physically. Mentally, I am waaay the heck out there.
  • I was born in May of 1973
  • I am Type-A all the way
  • I am self-centered just like everyone else
  • I have 3 children; Brianna, Jeremy, and Jaxon
  • My husband’s name is Rich
  • I am studying to become a nurse, but I’ve taken some time off to have another baby.
  • I think I have a lot to say. So here I sit saying it.

What the heck is this blog about?

The real question is “what isn’t this blog about”. It’s about me… mostly. My thoughts and my take on life. I incorporate my very patient and endearing husband who puts up with blog talk way more than I’m sure he would prefer. I talk about my darling children a lot too. I can’t help it. They are gorgeous geniuses.

I am honest in what I write. I am authentic in my life walk. I am a Christian woman who has battle wounds, scars, and lots of sins just sticking right out in the open. It’s because of those things that I believe I need a Savior (Jesus Christ). I am not here to Bible beat you to death though. Just sharing my journey through life, spirituality, Motherhood, Wifehood, and everything else under the Florida sun.

Sit back. Relax. Have a coffee or a beer. I can promise you it will be entertaining.

Stay tuned because soon we will have another tattoo.

Welcome to my Candid Chatter.

Great to meet you Heidi, you have a wonderful blog and I’m adding you to my blogroll!! :)

I stumbled across your site because I recently had to copyright my “baby angel wings” tattoo picture because I found it being linked to on various places ’round the web. You may want to do the same (love the tat!) :)

I’ve had 3 miscarriages and have 2 living children and am currently suffering sciatica from a car accident, so lots in common and lots I can learn from your blog I’m sure.

Congrats on the birth of your new son! :)

HI Heidi, my name is Paul Merriwether.

I just wrote a comment to your MLM article.

I would love to recruit you but that’s not my goal in writing.

I’m very interested in a frank & open discussion on MLM. I thought your PC rep could be that neutral person that could validate my comments because you respect and have a rapport with them.

Through your comments, I hope to strengthen my responses in handling objections & learn more about the approaches potential business partners hate. It could also help drive more traffic to your blog as I’ll tweet to my 32,000 followers.

Who knows, I might even want to quit doing this “pyramid scheme” stuff. .

I hope you’ll accept my invitation to discuss the industry, your likes, dislikes and any other areas that annoy you.

I do know you hate the big money claims. Just maybe I can help you to handle those doing such and educate them on using better marketing skills.

Thank you for your time and the time you took to address our industry.

    Sincerely Yours.

    Paul Merriwether

@Paul: i will do no such thing.. i will not “help” the MLM industry get better at sucking the $$ and hope out of people i care about… i am against what you do… and, i don’t give a rat’s ass about blog traffic.

    thanks for your comments though.
