Just Say It

Taken For Granted May 7, 2008

Filed under: Life... The Way I See It — candidchatter @ 7:07 am

Here is a list of 10 things (not people, this is about things) I have taken for granted. God blesses us so abundantly and may we never cease to thank Him. May we never forget the little things we are so blessed to have.

  1. Easy access to healthcare
  2. Insurance
  3. A car
  4. A house
  5. A fridge & freezer full of food
  6. Vitamins and supplements
  7. Clothes, shoes, purses, perfumes, make-up, hair products
  8. Running water
  9. Heat when I’m cold — AC when I’m hot
  10. My Bible

Your turn. What is one thing (not listed) that YOU take for granted?

You listed a lot of what I’m thankful for as well! Your question what I’m thankful for? I would say my freedom.

You always get me to thinkin! Thanks.

You both listed some wonderful things I am often guilty of taking for granted. And after thinking about it- I came up with a biggie. Ready for it?
    Starbucks. ‘Nuff said.
    😉

ROFL!! Yesssssss… Starbucks, where everyone knows my name (or at least the drive thru people). 😀

  5. My healthy children. Whether it is a good day or a bad day (theirs or mine) , I try very hard to never take their good health for granted. I am not talking about strep or ear infections or the complimentary green snot they bring home from school. I am talking about the solid body and sound mind.

That, and M&Ms. Never take for granted the fact that M&Ms remain legal in all fifty states. If the feds knew the joy they bring, I would be so screwed.

Hi Carrie. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Regarding M&M’s — esp the dark chocolate ones. Oh My Heaven! And YES YES about healthy kids. YES!!
